This is another rare bike from my personal
collection. 1982 Royal Wedding T140 LE. limited edition commemorating Charles & Dianas wedding. Only 125 of this model were produced andcfeatured special tank stop andcside panel medallions, a silver frame, Black Morris Mag wheels, Bing CV carbs, Twin Lockheed AP racing calipers at the front. Black Engine / Transmission, Marzocchi rear suspension and a special Chrime tank with black/ gold detailling.
i had one of these new in 1982 its a beautiful looking bikes they ride and handle really well with factory fitted Avon tyres. This bike was one of 3 uk spec i believe delivered new to Australia back in 1982 although there are possibly a few more now.
It rides starts shifts & brakes well the only thing not standard is the mufflers sadly the original
spec ones tended to rot underneath. This has Dunstall pipes fitted that look great and sound the part. If you always wanted one nows the chance as it would be one of very few remaining roadworthy in original finish.
